The Amour Noir Repair and Renew Cream - The cream that keeps on giving.
Here's what Angel had to say. She took the plunge and well the rest is history.
Ok, I must admit I was very dubious about purchasing this. I’m very particular about my skincare and mainly use Deciem Niod and Oils, which that have dramatically improved my skin.
But, I had some psoriasis on my face, that wouldn’t shift, but apart from that, I thought my skin was great.
However, to my surprise after only 7 days, not only has my psoriasis cleared up which I’ve had for years, my skin is plumper too.
I’m 49 and expected some fine lines and sagging, which I felt were extremely minimal for my age. But, wow! In 7 days my laughter lines are practically invisible and around my jawline is tighter too.
It’s only been a week and I’m excited to see what improvements I have to my forehead lines and hopefully my upper eyelid sagging and the dreaded neck, which the latter is always difficult to improve.
My skin is also much brighter and softer.
I only use it at night after applying my tretinol and use my normal skincare during the day, but I’m tempted to use this day and night. Previously, I was using squalene oil after my tretinol.
I don’t get spots, so I can’t comment on that, and I rarely even get a blackhead, but my pores do look like they’ve disappeared!
The only thing I dislike is it’s difficult to apply. Of course you should avoid dragging the skin and at first, that’s what was happening due to the thick consistency. You really only need a tiny bit, a little goes a long way, but I’ve found a solution to prevent dragging on the skin. I simply rub it between my fingertips to warm up for 2 seconds and evenly pat it all over my face, neck, chest and ears. Then it’s easier to gently spread all over the face afterwards.
It does look oily when first applied, but that soon disappears. But, if you find it doesn’t, depending on skin type; I’d leave it for at least 10 mins, then take a tissue and simply blot your skin to lift any residue.
I’ve a son with a few issues with redness and spots, who needs a simple skincare routine. I’m going to try this and the green one on him. It will be very interesting to see if it clears his skin up.
I must admit it’s a small jar and thought it’s not going to last long, especially given the price. But, after 7 days, it only looks like I’ve tested it and not used it all week. So, I now feel more confident it’s going to be a good purchase and economical.
Oh and if I’m being picky, but I’m honestly not sure what the different creams do. Maybe Amour can revise that and make it clearer to which one you need for skin types and issues. And also if you would benefit from more than one, which is best for day and evening.
I’ve got the toothpaste and magnetic mask, but I’ve yet to try them.
